OUTSTANDING TINY DESK GUIDE
Tiny Desk Concert AI: Make a Desk-Concert-Style Video
Tiny Desk concert AI refers to generated videos that place people in a desk-side music performance. This independent studio takes one lead photo and up to four optional bandmate photos, then creates a 19-second vertical video with its soundtrack. It is a fan tool and is not an official NPR or Tiny Desk production.
Concert, meme or AI video?
A live concert records musicians performing together. An AI video creates new moving imagery from input references. A meme is a way that a clip is reused or interpreted; it can draw on either live footage or generated imagery.
A generated performance should not be presented as a recording of people who actually performed together. Tell viewers it was AI-generated when the context could otherwise be misleading.
How to create a concert-style video
Upload a consenting adult’s lead portrait, optionally assign up to four bandmates and choose 480p, 720p or 1080p. Review the shown credit cost before starting. The output is vertical 9:16 and runs for 19 seconds.
Empty roles may be filled with other adult musicians. Check each person, instrument and the soundtrack in the finished clip before posting.
What should I know about music and privacy?
The finished video includes the studio soundtrack. Custom audio or voice upload is not offered in this studio. Check platform rules and obtain any rights required to share the soundtrack.
Creations are private by default, although someone with a shared media link may be able to view it. Removing a photo from a slot does not delete the uploaded file; contact support to request deletion.
